our committees
welfare
The Welfare Committee aims to create a caring and supportive culture in VJ by enhancing the well-being of Victorians. By supporting Victorians through umbrella, uniform and locker loaning services, increasing engagement and communication amongst the school population via Improve, whilst boosting morale through the Night Study Programme and VLA, we hope to make VJ a place Victorians can truly call home!
Relations
The Relations Committee aims to cultivate a strong sense of college culture and a sense of belonging that Victorians can feel for. We do this by fostering the Victorian spirit through our MADICS and MRSes who lead Victorians in our array of mass dances and school cheers. Not only that, we also connect both past and present Victorians through our social media page run by our VVICs, and also bridge the communication between the 49 CCAs that VJ has to bring about a more cohesive Victoria.
house
"6 Hoose, 1 Home". A phrase we hold near and dear to our hearts not just for its namesake, but for what it represents. The Hoose committee is indeed a close-knit family, belonging to one home. As a committee, we take pride in the vibrant and passionate Hoose Spirit VJC has to offer, and aim to instill this sense of belonging in each and every Victorian through our initiatives. These initiatives include organising Hoose Spirit Week, creating Hoose merchandise, and more. Furthermore, we also connect Victorians through Hoose meets, further strengthening the Hoose spirit in VJC. We are 6 different houses, but together, we are one Victorian family.
